How to Upgrade to Windows 10 for Free, Even Now

Image
When Windows 10 was announced, Microsoft had offered a free update for existing PC users, but only before July 29, 2016. If you haven't already upgraded to Windows 10 you'd think that this means you need to pay for it now. Perhaps you were too lazy or put off by Microsoft's aggressive upgrade tactics. If you're thinking about getting Windows 10 now, there's no need to worry about spending money, because the free upgrade offer is still available. We've already highlighted one easy trick to get the upgrade for free but that is meant for those who use assistive technologies only. Microsoft doesn't really check whether you use those tools, so you can go ahead and upgrade to Windows 10 for free anyway. How to Download WhatsApp Beta on Android

Image
Like other apps, WhatsApp relies on beta testers to try out new features before they are rolled out to everyone in a public update. This could be anything from displaying a friend’s current location, live, or the ability to edit messages after you’ve sent them - all these have shown up in beta versions of WhatsApp long before rolling out to a bigger audience. The WhatsApp beta test programme for Android is an opt-in scenario, as it rightly should be. If you’re looking to join the WhatsApp beta, we’ve got the requisite steps below. Before that, a caution – new beta versions are issued much more frequently than regular app updates, which can quickly get annoying for some people, and more importantly cause unexpected app crashes. If you’d like to avoid that kind of pickle, you’re better off staying on the general build of

How to Use Your Laptop as a Wi-Fi Hotspot

Image
Have you ever been in a situation where you have no W-Fi router, just one network cable and five people who need to use the Internet? Or maybe you have a 3G dongle that works with your laptop, but leaves your Wi-Fi-only tablet offline. Sounds familiar? It would certainly be handy to share the Internet connection amongst all users and devices without a router, right? Or maybe this scenario will ring a bell. Many hotels offer wired Internet access for free, but charge you for Wi-Fi and/ or for using the Internet on more than one device. So should you just pay the crazy amount they ask for? Not necessarily. You can share your laptop or desktop Internet connection via Wi-Fi to other devices, and for the most part, it's quite simple. Mac users face no trouble at all, as setting up Internet sharing in OS X is just a couple of click away, but for Windows users the process can be a little bit more laboured. The built-in options don't always cut it due to the complicated setup

There are some caveats to paying via Aadhaar via the BHIM app. ALSO SEE Aadhaar Payments: What Are They, How Can You Use Them? First is that the person you are sending money to should have their Aadhaar number linked to a bank account. If that's not the case, then paying via Aadhaar won't work. Secondly, BHIM doesn't show the account holder's name (to pr
